potato sack | piece of chic

I always call a dress like this 'a potato sack', because that is what it is. No shape at all, the funny part is: no shape creates an amazing shape. This dress is so phenomenal to wear! The colors of the dress are so easy to combine and it just screamed 'wear me with a hat'. And that is what i did.

The hat and the gloves are designed by my favorite belgian accessory designer Christophe Coppens . I am not the only fan, Roisin Murphy, Rihanna, Beth Ditto, Ana Matronic. I always knew these girls 'hat' style!!!

  46. Thanks for taking the time to read my lengthy article! I love the Woodstock movie too, a great documentary of one of those defining moments in recent history. That's why I wanted to write about Altamont, because it's less well known and people who do know it often refer to it as the day rock 'n roll died or the end of the sixties. While it was a disastrous day in many ways, such symbolism seems exaggerated - people died in Woodstock too, you know. I think Altamont was as much part of the sixties as Woodstock was, it's important not to overglorify the era, but interpret it critically! Laughed so hard at reading your anecdote on the Love Parade by the way, must have been quite experience ;) x
