You all know I have to go to a wedding! Getting ready for this fabulous event is the dream of every fashionista. It is the best excuse to buy some new accessories.
I've shown you the Versace heels before. But I needed the cherry on the cake, literally, a hat. My mum and I went to our favorite belgian hat designer Christophe Coppens. The idea was to buy one hat. The result: two hats, gloves and a scarf.
Across the street we found another gem: Icon. Oh my, Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno, Alexander Wang, Acne, Phillip Lim, ... Do I have to go on?
But oh what did I find at Icon: a Magik Fritkot(fries joint). I saw the dresses for the first time on my favorite style blog 70 percent pure. Instant wow effect, the prints are phenomenal. It is a limited edition pure belgian dress and I am so proud to walk with a fritkot on my body. Let the grease come to me!

ReplyDeleteLast year my brother married and I put a lot of tought in my outfit for that day. Since the bride was wearing a rather simple dress I didn't wanted to steal her thunder with a more fabulous outfit. Me and my sister are twins and we wanted to have matching outfits, well not really matching but we didn't want to take something that wouldn't go together on the pictures :) so we went to max mara to buy somethin simple but chic. We bought something of the same line but totally different. I also wanted to take something that I could wear to other weddings since I have a lot of friends marrying in the near future. I wanted to buy clothes that would last for more than one season :) and that I would be able to wear in the next years.

Lovely dress, nice to know that a designer can make beautiful clothes of something that is very important for Belgian people. And he uses the Belgian flag as the symbol of his line, that's awesome! So there must be a well-thought statement behind his clothes.
